Major Project – status update
The last period was on a line. I just worked on the project, I created the website structure and landing page. I don’t have the final version yet, just the structure. When I will finish it, I will replace the content with everything that is necessary. Looking back, I think I could proceed better on the blog part. When I started the project I started writing on my blog that I used on Practice 1 and Practice 2. Discussing with my tutor I decided to have the entire project in just one place. This is the reason I created the blog on the viart.co.uk website. The issue that I faced with this decision was the fact that I did not have a blog page before, and just in the middle of the project the structure is ready. Until now I wrote one word for my updates and researches. At this moment it is very difficult to update everything on the site, to create for each post a page with all its settings.
This operation took a lot of time and it is something mechanical, repetitive that will not help me in the creative process. Uploading the blogposts on the website platform consumed a lot of unnecessary time, unfortunately.
In addition to this part, I set the favicon for the website, the identity, Meta description, the Montserrat font family, hierarchy and the colour scheme.
